The book of Leviticus is not one people dwell on, but it's important. The Levites were supposed to help teach the people of God the way to worship God.
Sacrifices to pay for our sins was how they were made right with God again, how we're made right with God again. Thankfully we have Jesus' payment for our sins on the cross.
