Steganography is the art and science of concealing a message within another medium — be it text, an object, or digital data — so that its very existence remains undetected by unauthorized observers.

Unlike cryptography, which encrypts messages to make them unintelligible, steganography prioritizes invisibility over obfuscation. This practice has evolved across millennia, adapting to the technologies and needs of each era.
