Carney defended Liberal MP Paul Chiang despite his comments to kidnap Conservative Candidate Paul Tay for a reward in China. Chiang later resigned his seat in Marham. Carney also has ties to China through Brookfield and a sinking Real Estate Deal that prompted a Visit to Beijing and a loan from China's Central Bank.
