Grassroots Misused: Georgia’s Political Shakeup and Voting Tech Concerns
The tarnished "grassroots" label amid Georgia’s political maneuvering. With the legislative session nearing Sine Die, Jon Ossoff challenges MTG for the US Senate race but fears Kemp’s draw as a top-ticket contender. Lucy McBath suspends her campaign due to her husband’s cancer, while Keisha Lance Bottoms and Jason Carter emerge as Democratic options. A judge dismisses an election security case after 7 years, yet her 23-page summary flags concerns over Georgia’s hackable voting machines, despite Raffensperger’s defense of the Dominion system, raising questions about electoral integrity and political strategy.
Grassroots title has been ruined and used inappropriately.
They are looking at all the constitutional officers in GA and the State House and State Senate and the big ticket US Senate. Jon Ossoff is getting a little daring and has dared MTG in the race. He would like MTG in the race but he doesn’t want Kemp on the ticket. They need a drawing card on the big ticket and that would be Kemp in Georgia. They are looking for the top of the ticket. After Sine Die, Friday night, who will be the first to release. And if etiquette was in play that they will work for Kemp to make a move and it will look bad if you come out before Kemp, the adjustments will be made.
Lucy McBath says she is suspending her campaign because her husband has just been diagnosed with cancer. Keisha Lance Bottoms is still out there. Jason Carter, Jimmy Carter’s grandson, is making an appearance. He is telling fellow democrats to consider him.
Judge dismisses election security case but voice concerns about GA voting computer. Now why would she write a 23 page summary for a dismissal, and instead of writing the facts she writes about her substantial concerns about GA voting technology which uses touchscreens to print paper ballots. We watched the Halderman report and the hacking of the machines. The machines were installed months before the 2020 election. Raffensperger says “all the real world evidence shows that the GA paper ballot system (wink, wink - Dominion) works well.”
The Raffensperger Totenberg case took 7 years to decide the plaintiff didn’t have standing.
