Let's talk about the pressure to stay young and beautiful. Basically, you're not allowed to grow old. Well, not if you want a career or respect or to be desired. No matter your age, society expects women and men to remain ageless with long, healthy hair (not gray, no bald spots), no lines or wrinkles on their faces. They must have abs and tight buns.

If the have a baby, they are expected to bounce back in two months. Anything beyond that is unacceptable. You can be 60, but not look it.
