Why We Need God- Dr. Vahine Rosaria
ew with Dr. Vahine Rosaria: Why We Need God in Our Lives
Interviewer: Today, we have the privilege of speaking with Dr. Vahine Rosaria, a respected therapist known for her work in mental and emotional well-being. Dr. Rosaria has helped countless individuals navigate life’s challenges, and today, she shares her perspective on the role of faith and why we need God in our lives.
Interviewer: Dr. Rosaria, thank you for joining us. In your experience as a therapist, how does faith or belief in God influence mental health?
Dr. Rosaria: Thank you for having me. Faith plays a profound role in mental well-being. Many of my clients who incorporate spirituality into their lives report feeling a greater sense of peace, resilience, and purpose. Faith provides a foundation that helps people navigate stress, grief, and uncertainty with hope rather than despair.
Interviewer: That’s fascinating. Some argue that people can find purpose and meaning without belief in God. How would you respond to that?
Dr. Rosaria: That’s a fair point. Purpose can be found in many places—relationships, career, or personal goals. However, faith in God offers something deeper: an eternal perspective. It reminds us that we are part of something greater than ourselves, and that our struggles have meaning beyond the here and now.
Interviewer: Do you see a difference in how people handle suffering when they have faith versus when they don’t?
Dr. Rosaria: Absolutely. Faith gives people hope in the midst of suffering. When we believe in a higher power, we are less likely to feel alone in our pain. It also allows us to reframe challenges as opportunities for growth rather than meaningless hardships.
Interviewer: In today’s fast-paced, often secular world, how can people reconnect with God?
Dr. Rosaria: It starts with intentionality. Prayer, meditation, reading sacred texts, and surrounding oneself with a supportive faith community are great steps. Also, taking time to reflect on life’s blessings and seeking deeper meaning in everyday moments can help strengthen our connection with God.
Interviewer: That’s powerful advice. Any final thoughts for our readers?
Dr. Rosaria: I would encourage everyone to explore faith with an open heart. Whether you are struggling or simply seeking greater fulfillment, turning to God can offer wisdom, peace, and direction in ways that nothing else can.
Interviewer: Thank you, Dr. Rosaria, for sharing your insights. visit www.camelcare.ca for all your health solutions.
