Acts 26 Review Acts & Paul’s Epistles continued

SBC Family,

We’ll be continuing our review of Acts & Paul’s Epistles. This easy we will be up to speed and ready for Romans. I hope to finish the review tonight by looking at Galatians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Corinthians. Then next week a little exegesis in Acts and we should be up to the place in Acts where Paul wrote Romans.

Romans is the big one, and there’s a reason for that. It’s not just arbitrarily selected or thought of highly by so many because they like the structure and truths. Paul’s life was in danger and he was planning to go to Jerusalem, so he thought he may be arrested and never get to go to Rome. Rome was known as the ‘Eternal City’ and had almost one million inhabitants. It was the most influential city in the world. Paul wrote what he wrote in Romans because if this happened to be the last letter he wrote he wanted this precious information to go out to the world. Rome was the place to send such a letter.
