Electric service will be restored slowly

The Nine counties serviced by the Presque Isle Electric and Gas Co-op should expect delays, maybe as long as a week to restore most of the service lost in last weekend’s ice storms. Roughly 30,000 customers are still waiting to get the lights and heat back on. Officials say to make matters worse; trees are still falling pulling down newly reinstalled lines.
