"The Air That I Breathe" is a classic song by The #Hollies, released in 1974 on their album Hollies. Written by Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood, it’s a beautiful ballad known for its lush harmonies and emotional depth. The Hollies’ version became a major hit, reaching number 2 in the UK and number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. The song’s iconic chorus—“All I need is the air that I breathe and to love you”—captures its romantic simplicity.

Interestingly, the song later sparked some controversy when Radiohead’s 1992 track "Creep" was noted for its structural similarities, leading to a lawsuit. Hammond and Hazlewood ended up with co-writing credits on "Creep" as a result.
