FAFO: Cooper Jo Fredrick, 24, has been indicted for firebombing attack Tesla Dealership

On March 14, 2025, Cooper Jo Frederick, a 24-year-old resident of Fort Collins, Colorado, was arrested in connection with a firebombing attack on a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado. The incident occurred on March 7, when Frederick allegedly ignited and threw an incendiary device at the dealership, landing between two vehicles. A police officer quickly extinguished the fire, preventing further damage, while a cleanup crew was inside the building at the time.
Initially arrested by Loveland police, Frederick faced state charges including second-degree arson, possession and use of an incendiary device during a felony, and criminal mischief causing $5,000 to $20,000 in damage. He posted a $20,000 bond shortly after. However, on March 27, he was apprehended in Frisco, Texas, following an FBI investigation, and now faces federal charges. A federal grand jury indicted him for malicious destruction of property by fire and possession of an unregistered destructive device.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi labeled the attack part of a "wave of domestic terrorism" against Tesla properties, vowing to seek a 20-year prison sentence. Frederick’s case remains ongoing, with evidence suggesting involvement, though a final ruling awaits. His arrest marks the second in a series of attacks on the Loveland dealership this year.
