The Siren Head

The forest was quiet—too quiet.

Mira and her friends laughed as they followed the trail into the woods, ignoring the old man at the gas station who warned them:
"Don’t stay after dark. Siren Head hunts in the silence."

They thought it was just a myth. Until night fell.

At first, they heard faint sirens echoing through the trees—faint but moving. Closer.
Then came the voices. Their own voices, calling for help. But none of them had spoken.

Suddenly, a towering figure emerged between the trees. Its head was made of two rusted sirens, fused to a stretched, corpse-like body.
It didn’t run. It didn't need to. The sirens let out a deafening screech, paralyzing them with pain.

One by one, they dropped.

The forest was quiet again—except for the crackle of static... and Mira’s voice, repeating from the distance:
"Help me... please... help me..."

But Mira was already gone.
