Philippians Chapter Three Part Two by Paige Coffey

Continuing in Philippians chapter three, Paul states that he has not reached his goal nor is he perfect yet, but that he is making every effort he can because he has been taken hold of by Christ. Paul talks more about the goal and now mentions the prize promised by God’s heavenly call. He tells us that if we think differently that we should go to God and he will reveal the truth to us. Paul reminds us to imitate him and pay careful attention to the examples we have in the disciples. Chapter three is ended with Paul telling us what grieves him and how the enemies of the cross will be destroyed.
