The historical norm has been 15:1 ratio so SILVER is the best value trade where you could make 7-TIMES your money more than Gold. Silver comes out of the ground at a 7:1 ratio. The GOLD/SILVER ratio is way out of Whack. Silver is extremely VOLATILE compared to Gold.

GOLD/SILVER RATIO: GOLD$3,036oz divided by SILVER$29.56oz= 102.7 silver ounces for 1oz of Gold.
