Replacing rear brake pads 2012 dodge Journey part 2
7 months ago
2
Lube the caliper bots up and put them back in their original location.
After the brakes have been properly re assembled put the tires back on and tighten the lug nuts.
Take the SUV off the jack stands or off the lift how ever you are doing it.
Your almost done at this point but be very sure you do not skip this next step. remember when we depressed the position inward so the caliper would fit back on over the break pads? well its still in so you HAVE to push on the brake pedal several times BEFORE you drive the car. DO NO DO NOT DO NOT skip this step as it could lead to a very bad situation. your brakes will not work until that piston has been reconnected to the pads.
