1998 Mazda B2500 Oil Change
5
This truck is very well suited for self service oil changes, remove the dip stick, turn on the E-brake, get a drain pain to catch all the oil. Unscrew the oil filter, remove the oil drain plug. Drain the old oil into a pan. DO NOT get an oil on the ground and if you do clean it up with cat litter or floor dry. let the oil drain for several minutes until you no longer see any oil dripping out.
Screw the plug back into the the bottom of the engine, replace the oil filter with a new one then add the proper amount of oil. check the level, start the truck and shut it off after letting it run for a few moments. Make sure the oil level is at the proper amount and your good to go. Turn the E-brake off and drive.
