Clap Clap – When You Hear It, Don’t Move

**CLAP CLAP**

It started the night Aanya moved into the old hill cottage her grandmother left her. The place was dusty, cold, and filled with antique furniture—but something felt off.

That first night, as she was drifting to sleep, she heard it.

**Clap. Clap.**

She sat up, heart thumping. Maybe the wind? A pipe? She dismissed it.

The second night, it came again.

**Clap. Clap.**

Only this time, closer—just outside her bedroom door.

She tiptoed to the hallway. Nothing. But as she turned back:

**Clap. Clap.**

Right behind her.

She spun around. Empty.

Now panicking, she ran to her room, locked the door, and stayed under the covers.

Silence.

Until 3:00 AM.

A soft whisper:
*"If you hear the clapping... don’t clap back."*

Then—

**Clap. Clap.**

And slowly… from under her bed…

**Clap. Clap.**

A pale hand reached out.

And she clapped back.

That was the last sound she ever made.
