Are You a Gift or a Curse To Your Family?

I can feel a sinus infection coming on and that always drains me of energy.

But It's just me and my son for a weekend because my wife took our daughter for a girls trip in New York.

He's been talking about the girls leaving for weeks now.

We did jujitsu together yesterday and went out for dinner, Then watched a movie in his room before bed.

Today he wants me to wake him up early so we can hang out before he goes to school, and then hang out the rest of the night after he gets home.

He's not in New York, but he's as excited as if he is.

That means I need to suck it up, take some medicine and be a light for him.

There are people going through far worse remaining positive and inspirational to those around them.

If I was down, low energy, and sat on the couch all weekend Nathan would end up in his room by himself lonely.

The person I choose to be this weekend will have a real life impact on my son.
