Think Joy

This Christian song is a based on the true story of a boxer we knew. We saw him for the first time when my father drug me to a Golden Gloves competition in Grand Rapids, MI. I spent little time with my father so I went just to be with him. But 'Red' boxed and lost on a TKO when he hit his opponent below the belt. He had been top in Orlando, FL but couldn't get higher than 3rd in Michigan. He was slipping. He moved many miles south, next door to my father in a mobile home park. My rich father had sold his fancy home. So I was amazed when I found out Red was now a good friend. He explained that his brain was only damaged in that he could not feel joy. But in an alpha seminar he explained that he could THINK joy. I learned so much from him.
