REDCREST champions roundtable with Evers, Connell, Lane, Thrift

The sixth edition of Major League Fishing’s premiere event – Bass Pro Shops REDCREST 2025 Presented by MillerTech Lithium Batteries – will crown a new champion on April 6 after four days on Lake Guntersville. There are only four anglers who can claim the title “REDCREST champion,” and they’re all in Huntsville this week, gunning for another trophy: 2019 winner Edwin Evers, 2021 and 2024 champ Dustin Connell, 2022 winner Bobby Lane and 2023 champion Bryan Thrift.

We pulled the four champs together on the eve of REDCREST to ask them about their experiences, and how much it means to hoist the big red trophy.
