Does Faith Replace the Law? Justification, Sanctification, and the Role of Obedience

Many believers today assume that faith in Yeshua replaces any need to follow God’s law. Some even go so far as to say you care cursed if you even try to keep the law. But is that what Scripture really teaches?

In this continuation of his Romans series, Tom Stapleton begins in Acts 15:20, shows it root from Leviticus 19:26–37, and builds into Romans 3:21–4:8 to uncover the true relationship between becoming justified by faith, and the role of obedience in sanctification.

Tom digs deeply into why Paul uses two different Greek words in Romans 3:30, one is "by faith" (for the circumcised) and the other "through faith" (for the Gentiles). "By" is from a word that denotes origin, the point where an action begins. "Through" denotes the channel of an act.
