We Needed A Good Kick In Our Complacency!

Star Trek: The Next Generation episode where Captain Picard reflects, "Perhaps what we most needed was a kick in our complacency to prepare us for what lies ahead."

It may not appear to be connected, but it is. Society is composed of individual's who lie to themselves daily:

"I'm a good person"

You can debate that statement until the end of time, but, one thing is certain, we're at an intriguing point in history. Women projecting their abuses upon men, men being abused by parents and teachers via castration for the shame of being "guilty" of being male.
What we have is a society that's needed a swift kick in the arse to wake up and face these monsters head on.

Far too long we've shamed men for standing up to those monsters.
