NIGHT WHISPERER (Short Horror Story)

Mira, a college student, starts hearing whispers in her room every night at exactly 2:17 AM.

They say her name.
They tell her:

“Don’t look behind.”
“Under your bed.”
“I’m closer… when you hear me.”

She checks everything. Nothing’s there.

Then, a voicemail arrives—from her own number. It whispers:

“Now that you hear me… you’re mine.”

She tries to escape, but the whisper follows her everywhere. Her neighbor finally says:

“Once you hear the Whisperer... it never leaves. It becomes you.”

The next night, Mira isn’t scared anymore.
She whispers now too.

“I’m the Whisperer.”
