A patched and hacked version of Final Fantasy on the NES that fixes all the bugs found in the original version of the 1990 North American released game by Square and adds quality of life improvements as well. To make for an even better game than the original but still actually being the original game at the same time.

One of Ramsis favorite games growing up is Final Fantasy for the NES. Way back in 1990 when first played, it was enjoyment and love at first sight. Of course with his Nintendo Power Strategy Guide on hand, Ramsis was able to tackle and beat the game, many, many, many times. And had done so well into the present with all the different remakes and redos of the classic game on so many more systems.

What if they were able to do all of the improvements and bug fixes on the NES version though? What then? Well we play it, that's what. And boy what a great experience this is going to be. All bugs found in the original game (over 50 of them) have been fixed. Quality of life additions like more room for names, updated monster names to fit what they were supposed to be, ability to run, see what weapons and armor go for each class and buy 10 potions at once! Wow! This can't be true. Oh but it is..

Fully played and enjoyed, we bring you the version of Final Fantasy on the NES we wish we got, we should have got, if only they properly coded and translated and fixed it version of Final Fantasy.. Final Fantasy Restored + Hasted!

Time to use a different team as well. We already used some classes in our previous playthrough, well this time it's going to be Fighters and Mages taking on the evil forces as we work to restore all the crystals to power.

It's going to be another long one though, so sit back, relax, take it easy and get comfortable. We have a lot of leveling up, grinding and monsters to beat up as we work out way to the end. And are we going to do it? Of course we are.. that's what we do here on Ramsis Retro Longplays.
