Galatians 3:1-14

If righteousness could be obtained through the Law, then Christ died needlessly. But no one would ever be justified by the works of the Law. Thus, it was foolish to think otherwise. Nevertheless, someone had "bewitched" the Galatian believers. The apostle Paul addresses the issue head on. Righteousness can only be obtain by placing our trust in Jesus' completed work on the cross. Salvation by God's grace, through faith saved Abraham and it still saves us today. Only now, the shadows and types of the Old Testament have been made complete in Jesus Christ. He is the substance that the Law and the Prophets pointed towards.
