"Lawrence has a ritual. Each month, for a couple days, he sends his girlfriend on vacation to "work on his accountings".
The Bahamas, Cancún, Canary Islands hold no secrets to the young lady.
But this week-end, Marie decided to stay. No matter the cost."

With Business Class, we wanted to revisit a well-known myth and make it our own to explore something deeper: relationships. More specifically, how communication erodes over time, how misunderstandings grow, and ultimately, how love can become toxic when it takes the wrong turn.

Business Class delves into our inability to resolve conflicts when passion takes over.
At its core, Business Class is a film about love.

Hours of filming, editing, and sleepless nights brought this film to life.
The idea for the short film first came to Ugo’s mind in 2019, in Los Angeles. Once back in France, we worked together to adapt the screenplay. A certain global virus forced us to delay production for almost two years. Finally, in March 2022, we shot the film in Roost-Warendin, with the magnificent Château de Bernicourt as our main backdrop.

Almost three years later, it’s time to close the Business Class chapter and express our deepest gratitude to those who made it possible.

Business Class is the story of a small but passionate team, dedicating countless hours to bring this project to life. It’s a duo of incredible actors, Anne-Sophie Picard and Rupert Wynne-James, who gave 200% of themselves to embody Lawrence and Marie. It’s a talented composer, Maria Rubel, who crafted a symphonic score that perfectly captures the drama unfolding on screen. It’s Joey Niceforo, a Canadian tenor, whose rendition of a well-known song adds an unforgettable touch to the film.

It’s also all the helping hands that built this project, brick by brick:
Guy, Ugo, Alex, Rony, Evan, Laurent, Souleymane, Chaïda, Manon, Violaine, Nicolas, Matheo, Soumaya, Alexandre, Pierre, Serge, Matt, and everyone who contributed, in big ways or small, to making this film a reality.

A very special thank you to our producer, Rémy Fleury, who has been an unwavering support for 14 years.
Thank you to SLR, Studio Dess, and Alex Prod for their collaboration.
Thank you to Le Tandem, Scène Nationale de Douai, for hosting our wonderful premiere.
Thank you to Mayor Lionel Courdavault and the city of Roost-Warendin for providing us with such an inspiring setting.

Please don’t hesitate to like, comment, and share the film—your feedback means the world to us.
A huge thank you to everyone who will help keep this film alive.

Now, fasten your seatbelts—you’re flying Business Class!
