After Confession, Accept the Mercy of God

God is doing something new, as seen in the prophet Isaiah’s words and the actions of Jesus and Saint Paul. Jesus forgave the adulteress, urging her to sin no more, while Saint Paul emphasized forgetting the past and looking forward to the future. This newness is about God’s power to free us from sin and Satan, leading us to heaven, the ultimate promised land.
