President Donald Trump on his first day in office signed an executive order calling for the Gulf of Mexico to be renamed the Gulf of America on federal documents "in recognition of this flourishing economic resource and its critical importance to our nation’s economy," but Trump doesn't have the authority to rename the body of water globally.
