For years, Larry Sanger was agnostic. But when he encountered arguments from Stephen Meyer—especially the cosmological and fine-tuning arguments—he began to rethink his beliefs.

Sanger was struck by the idea that the universe had a beginning and that it was very finely tuned in such a way that life could exist.
