Bomberman goes to the Fairy Palace to see that the doors in the back are shut frozen with ice. So he goes to the Plasma Base traverse crumbling floors as he goes up the floors of each tower, so that he can face off against the former leader, now subordinate, of the 5 Dastardly Bombers, Plasma Bomber.

Normally, I would post a link to where I got the game ROM, but I'm going to keep it secret, because I don't want the Nintendo ninjas to kill that website like they did with Emu Paradise. Sorry to say, but you're going to have to find a emulator ROM site on you own.
