Using Scrap for Kitchen Counter

We are putting the finishing touches on the Apothecary wall in our newly remodeled kitchen. This section of the kitchen is set aside for managing medicinal herbs. The counter top area provides space for the longer processing times of fermentations, tinctures, and other preservation methods. This counter space is not a part of the daily food prep work in the kitchen. With an eye toward budgeting, we are making use of the tile that was left over from the shower build. With the one already cut tile, we have just enough to finish the job, meaning no additional cost for the countertop in this 6-foot section of the kitchen.
