Protests as Germany plans to deport pro-Palestinian activists, legally residing in Berlin | DW News

Protesters have taken to the streets here in Berlin in support of four pro-Palestinian activists facing deportation from Germany. Demonstrators say the activists from Ireland, Poland and the US were unfairly targeted for their political activism. German authorities claim the activists resisted arrest during protests and engaged in supporting a banned terrorist group, but none of them have been convicted. It's the first time that German authorities are attempting to deport foreign nationals who are in Germany legally in connection with pro-Palestinian activism.
