Maya hears her husband Arjun’s voice from the bathroom:

ARJUN (O.S.)
"Come to bed, love."

She replies, “Coming,” and turns to see someone already under the covers, facing the wall.

Confused, she looks toward the bathroom — Arjun is still in there, brushing his teeth.

She turns back to the bed. The figure slowly turns around.

It’s not Arjun. It’s something else — pale, grinning, and dead.

THE FIGURE (WHISPERS)
"I’ve been waiting."
