Katie is an author, award-winning independent filmmaker, and expert in medicinal plants and holistic healing. She is the author of A Diamond for India: Myths, Magic, and Medicine – An Aromatic Journey with the Healing Plants of India and Messages from the Medicine: Mother Ayahuasca Speaks, two works that explore the wisdom of ancient plant medicines across cultures.

Beyond her writing and filmmaking, Katie is the founder of Pineapple Peace Garden Inc., a nonprofit learning garden in Central Florida dedicated to education, sustainability, and community wellness.
