Ezekiel 27 & 28 – Misinterpreted as a description of Satan. 2019

The previous chapter outlaid the destruction and fate of the city of Tyre. The ruins of Tyre stand today as a testimony to the accuracy of the Word of Elohim. This was once a huge and prosperous city. It was the capital of the once mighty Phoenician Empire. In chapter 27, Ezekiel compares it to a ship that has wrecked. It is an ironic comparison for this city that was once the major port for a seagoing people.

Chapter 28 contains a passage that is classically misinterpreted as a description of Satan. But it is not. It clearly speaks of the King of Tyre. Did you think Satan was once a perfect creature who guarded the throne of God but fell because of his pride? NOPE! Join us and see if you don't agree.
