Is Airsculpt Worth It?

I filmed this a few weeks ago. My 3 month checkup is April 25. Here’s my honest review/personal experience:

•I am 99% THRILLED with these results. There is a little ridge over my bellybutton that I’m hyper fixated on, if it’s fat I want it fixed. If it’s skin or muscle I’ll accept that it’s a new part of me.
•I’ve seen some posts about poor pain control during AirSculpt. That was NOT the case for me. I barely remember the procedure (you’re awake but high AF and they use lidocaine to numb locally) I do remember an area of my abdomen by my ribs really tickling though
•Post Op pain was far worse than I expected. (My friend who just jumped back into life is a super hero apparently OR I’m a wimp) they only prescribe antibiotics and 800mg of ibuprofen. Luckily I had leftover hydrocodone from a surgery about 3 yrs ago so I took those 3x a day for the first few days and did ok.
•No drains pinned to your clothes is NICE but leaking into giant maxi pads that are stuffed in your compression garment isn’t much better.
•Take your first shower sitting down on a bench
•Compression garments are miserable and wonderful all at the same time
•Learning to use the bathroom wearing the garment is a total mind fck. “You aren’t supposed to pee with pants on!!” your mind screams while you try to relax.
•They say the compression garment is mandatory for two weeks but you will need it for at least 4-6 weeks
•My skin is still hypersensitive in some areas
•Get lymphatic massage ASAP it HELPS! I started late (2 weeks post op) but it made a big difference and I’m still going weekly.
•Get your body moving ASAP. I was walking at the gym albeit at a snails pace on day 4 post op
•my doctor (Dr. Betuzzi in KS City) and the nursing staff were wonderful.

I’ll keep yall posted on what they say about the bellybutton ridge. As it stands was it worth the $$? YES! Would I do it again? YES! Is there anything different I’d do? Maybe.. they also offer a mini tummy tuck to remove excess skin that you can have done w/the AirSculpt. Kinda wish I had opted in for that.
