Rant #7 Why EQ Hacks Don't Always Work

With all the information about EQing, there are variables that some miss or ignore. In my experience, Hacks don't work. There are some basics that need to be addressed before we even EQ. (DISCLAIMER: I'm not a pro mixing engineer, but passing on information that helped me and worked for me.
