The Un-Americans?

Connecticut is part of the UNITED States of America. We come together under the federal Constitution. It is important that federal law enforcement be able cooperate with our local law enforcement with regard to enforcing federal law.

Any law impeding that cooperation DOES NOT make us safer, and is Un-Constitutional. No court has disagreed. This expansion of the "Trust Act" does not make our state safer. It only protects arrestees, some of whom are charged with very serious crimes. I cannot support legislation that makes it harder for law enforcement to do their job. #CTweCANdoBETTER
