When Cops Are The Bad Boys Vol 10

On February 20, 2024 Jacob Wood a Police Officer of the Commerce Police Department located in Commerce, GA was fired after an investigation into his repeated DUI arrests of citizens that were free and clear of any drugs or alcohol in their systems.

In 2023, Officer Wood made more than double the amount of DUI arrests compared to the rest of his department combine. Wood was put on paid leave in January 2024, right around the time a local news outlet, Fox 5 Atlanta I-Team began requesting copies of Wood's arrest records. The GBI declined to investigate the matter at this time. Wood had been a Police Officer with Commerce since June 2022.

Many of charges resulting from Wood's arrests have been dismissed. It is not known at this time if any of the citizens plan to file a Civil Lawsuit.
