Rep. Mike Kennedy: School lunches should be a model of health

Representative Mike Kennedy (R-UT) talks about a new law he’s working on that would remove ultraprocessed foods from school meals and make them healthier for students. “This is for the school lunch program If you don't like it, just bring your own lunch or go buy something else,” he says. “But when the taxpayers are paying for this, which the federal taxpayer does pay for this, it should be a healthy option. Not something that’s going to be questionable as to the health of our children.”
