Psalm 51 - The Back Story. Psalm 51 is one of the greatest prayers of repentance in the bible. But do you know the back story of Psalm 51? It involves betrayal, abuse of power, and murder. The story documents how King David commits these horrible acts against a woman, her husband and God.

The story is found in 2 Samuel chapter 11 and 12, and it give us great detail of David sins and betrayal, concluding with God's judge against him.
