Mount Inerie_The Natural Pyramid of Flores

Mount Inerie is one of the highest volcanoes on Flores. It last erupted in 1970 and has an altitude of 2,245 meters above sea level. The undulating texture of the mountain chain and its varied valleys present a unique charm of their own.
This exotic mountain is located in Bajawa Regency, Ngada Regency, Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara. The meaning of the name of Mount Inerie is taken from the word ine which means mother and rie which means beautiful.
