Free Speech Can Be Uncomfortable

Do any of you have that friend who challenges the consistency of your free speech principles? I do. LOL!

David Pettinger has played a lot of characters and pushed the envelope on the line between satire and guerrilla theater. So much so that he has earned his own Wiki page.

People ask me why I'm friends with him. They want me to try to intervene because David's latest character makes people uncomfortable.

David is my friend. He stood when so many wouldn't and continues to call attention to issues in his own way. He'll make you face your own free speech principles too.

I think you will see what I see in this interview, that his activism comes from deep thought and passion for liberty. I think you will also discover that no one is telling David what to do ever. Like so many of us liberty activists, he defends his liberty as he feels called. Agree with him or not, he has created space when we needed it and brought attention to issues that were threatening our liberty.
