No Energy, No Economy Part 2. Energy is "Master Resource"

Oil is NOT fossil fuel. It is hydrocarbons. This is not an argument against alternative fuels or EV's (I love EV's for their "quiet" ride and their efficiency on short trips). Read up on "ABIOTIC" oil:

My own personal experience (no, I am not a geologist) was when I visited Pennsylvania (1990's) and toured an oil field which had been abandoned in the 1950's because it had been "pumped out". The "oil men" (not a big company) who were reviving this field claimed that the levels of the "reservoirs" were near 50% of historical levels and they attributed this to "newly produced crude from deep in the earth being forced up". This was my first time hearing of the "Abiotic Oil Theory".
So do not be taken in by the PARASITES who spread fear of "running out" of oil.

It is very likely that it is becoming more difficult to locate and extract (which equates to "more expensive"), but I've heard this fear mongering and preaching about running out of oil since the 70's (first Arab Oil Embargo).

Educate yourself with both sides of the story. And then use the source of energy which is the most efficient for the task you are trying to do. My next vehicle will be an EV, but I will still resort to gasoline or diesel when more practical and efficient.
