Food Lines in NYC, Tariffs and High Rents

Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel @NewYorker53 . I made this video two days ago on April 8, 2025, in Manhattan around the Village area. I have seen this in a few places among boroughs in NYC. This is another food line by The Church of The East Village where food and clothing were being handed out. This is a sign of the times and honestly reminds me of the Great Depression. High tariffs on China, President Trump can go to his golf course, and many of the poor are looking for a way to have a meal.
