Authorities are investigating a helicopter crash in the Hudson River, according to the New York Police Department.

"Due to a helicopter crash in the Hudson River, in the vicinity of the West Side Highway and Spring Street, expect emergency vehicles and traffic delays in the surrounding areas," shared the police department on "X".

The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. near Jersey City. The Hudson River splits New York City and New Jersey.
