Instead a more carnal earthbound hunger we’ve all succumbed to, Alan asked God how to know the true inclination of his heart. God answered back that it is manifested through our choices. We all have trials in life, but if we choose to look at them as an opportunity to learn and grow instead of a punishment or drudgery, we will notice God’s hand in our lives and surroundings. Alan says, “a relationship with Jesus and our Father in Heaven is the true value and purpose for our lives.”
