Wanting to be a Better Father is way Easier then Taking Action

I don't care how long you've "wanted to get your s*** together"

You still haven't done it.

I don't care how much you want to be a better father if you're still making excuses and choosing easy, safe, and comfy over what it takes to change.

It takes suffering. It takes pain. For a man in his 30s and '40s to completely uproot his habits takes immense work and willpower.

For most guys it's just not worth it.

They'd rather coast and see how bad things get to see if it's necessary for them to actually do something.

The obese man who's waiting till the heart attack comes.

The weak husband who's waiting till the divorce letter arrives

The alcoholic who's going to chance one more weekend with the boys and hope nothing too bad happens.

It's a lack of ownership. It's a lack of responsibility. It's grown men acting like Peter Pan running from responsibility.

Everything a father decides to do or not to do is a choice. Your family lives with the consequences.

A father's family carries the weight of his decisions.
