this is the real life arc reactor from Iron Man. But how does it compare to what we saw in the movies? So in the movies, Tony Stark creates his miniature arc reactor with a metal called palladium. That's a metal scientists first claimed to solve cold fusion with 100 years ago. Huge news at the time.

Cuz it would create room temperature, clean nuclear power. But until now, scientists have never been able to replicate the original experiment. So this reactor, made by the Russian YouTuber, Alex Lab is seriously impressive. Powerful enough to cut, blast, and strengthen. But it's not powered by nuclear fusion.
