Pistachio Shell Snowflakes | DIY Winter Craft Using Simple Materials! Get ready to turn your snack into a snowflake! In today’s video, I’m showing you how to make stunning snowflake decorations using pistachio shells, popsicle sticks, and a whole lot of hot glue. This project is super budget-friendly (I got my 10oz bag of unsalted, undyed pistachios from Aldi for just $3.85!) and the results are surprisingly elegant.

First, I’ll walk you through how to create the smaller snowflake design using regular popsicle sticks and a wooden star base (or cardboard if you’re improvising). Then, we’ll move on to the larger version using tongue depressor sticks and a unique rosette-style center. I’ll share tips for shell placement, glue application, and even how to give your snowflakes that extra sparkle with glitter spray.

Whether you want to hang them on your Christmas tree, decorate a winter wreath, or just love the idea of upcycling pistachio shells into something beautiful—this craft is fun, easy, and a great way to get creative.

Supplies Used:
• Pistachio shells (unsalted & undyed)
• Popsicle sticks & tongue depressors
• Wooden star or cardboard backing
• Hot glue & glitter
• Hanging hardware
• Optional: glitter spray for a final touch
