Freedom of Speechless | How To Approach Non-Speakers

In this episode, we discuss how to and how NOT to engage with a non-speaking individual.

Mind Over Body is an organization that works with apraxic, non-speaking individuals. This channel is meant to be the voice of those individuals. Believe it or not, non-speaking individuals, have more to say than one could imagine. They are also more intelligent than most.

Imagine having a right to speech, without having the ability to speak. Do you lose that right? NO. Do paraplegics lose their right to peaceably assemble or march? NO. There is more than one way to speak.

We're bringing awareness to all motor differences, autism, apraxia, Spelling to Communicate and everything to do with the subject. Our non-speakers have much to say, and through spelling to communicate, we're able to finally listen them.
